Travis Buchanan is the founder and owner of Buchanan Custom Decks. His love for building and construction began at a young age when he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps, learning everything he could about the industry.

As the years passed, Travis worked for several construction companies, both commercial and residential until he made the bold move to open his own company in 2010. At that time, Travis was his only employee but today the company has grown to include three full teams. The decision to specialize in decks 5 years ago launched Buchanan Custom Decks into their busiest time yet. Deck repairs, entirely new decks, and even converting existing decks into covered or screened-in porches have become specialties of the Buchanan Custom Decks team. Travis has come a long way since his first project of replacing broken columns on a front porch, but his integrity and efficient work on each project remain the same.
